Clinical Case Submission – Gladiator Arena

1. Presentation Format

  • Duration: 7 minutes for presentation + 3 minutes for discussion.
  • Structure:
    1. Case Presentation: Brief history, examination findings, and initial presentation.
    2. Diagnosis: Differential diagnoses considered and final diagnosis with supporting evidence.
    3. Management: Acute and long-term treatment strategies, interventions, and rationale.
    4. Follow-up: Clinical course, imaging or lab results over time, and outcomes.
    5. Conclusion: Key learning points and take-home messages.
  • Language: English only.
  • Multimedia:
    1. All images must be high-resolution and anonymized.
    2. Embedded videos (e.g., map,angiography) must play smoothly within the slide.
    3. Ensure compatibility with standard PowerPoint and PDF viewers.

  • Notification of Acceptance: Approximately 2 weeks after submission.

3. Submission Process

  • Method: Online only via the official submission platform.

4. Content Requirements

  • Educational Value:
    • Cases must highlight clear clinical questions or dilemmas.
    • Emphasize novel insights, diagnostic challenges, or management strategies.
  • Clinical Images:
    • Use de-identified ECGs, imaging, endoscopy, pathology, etc.
    • Legends and annotations should be concise and clear.

5. Grading & Awards

  • Judging Criteria: Clarity, educational impact, diagnostic reasoning, and presentation quality.
  • First Prize Ceremony: Held at the ancient metropolis following the final session. The top presenter will receive their award in a formal ceremony.

Trace Submission – TRACE Forum

    2. Trace: Display and interpret intracardiac electrograms or surface ECG tracings.
    3. Explanation: Mechanistic insights and electrophysiological interpretation.
    4. Take-Home Message: One or two concise clinical pearls.

  • Multimedia:
    • High-definition tracings and any supplementary images.
    • Videos or pacing recordings must be embedded and tested in advance.
